My name is Avery! I’m an author and illustrator from Canada, currently living near Vancouver, BC. 

 

I love illustrating both traditionally and digitally, with watercolour and coloured pencil dominating my work. My practice is heavily inspired by nature, storytelling, and the fantastical things in life. I aim to create a sense of whimsy and wonder in all my illustrations, with my writing focusing on fantasy novels and the occasional poem and short story.

 

In my free time I love knitting, sipping tea, and spending time with my partner and our extra fuzzy gremlin, Henry. When I’m not working on creative projects, I jump between my school studies and my job at my local public library.​
